I was in college then when my parents told me that they cannot send me to the next school year any longer because of financial problem. I am so upset after hearing what our real situation is. My father who used to work as a carpenter was diagnosed with primary pulmonary tuberculosis that made him stopped from his job. Since , the only thing that helped us in our daily expenses is the money we get from selling the harvested vegetables from our garden in the backyard. I do not want to stop in my studies because I wanted to finish it so that I can be of help in my parents in sending my other siblings to school. So I decided to work in the night after school hours.

I applied in a fast food restaurant, luckily passed the interviews and exams and get hired. I realized that being a working student is not that easy but a good experience in making oneself to have a strong personality. Now that I already finished my studies I am glad that I surpassed all the hurdles I had encountered in life.
