My father usually have routine check on all our appliances and all the equipments in our house.  From the garage to inside the house.  He told us the having a routine check helps us minimized the problem that caused by the malfaunctioning of these appliances.  One time while he was doing his routine check in our kitchen, he discover that our undermount sink needs to be repair.  Upon discovery, he immediately got his tools and started reairing it.
